The PF86 bottom bracket allows for a wide connection of the downtube and the tapered seattube to the BB box. Together with a stiffness-optimized lay-up and SCOTT's patented carbon
manufacturing process, the BB stiffness of the Addict Gravel Disc reaches an impressive level.
Direção Cónica
The Addict Gravel Disc features 1 1/8" to 1 1/2" integrated bearings and a tapered headtube. The headtube diameter allows for wider connections of the toptube and downtube which results in an increased of torsional stiffness. The rigid front end enables direct, precise and safe handling of the bike, even in the most technical of turns.

Com a selecção adequada de materiais, oitenta porcento do trabalho para criar um quadro está feito. Mas os restantes vinte porcento requerem a maioria do nosso esforço. Por esta razão, após a escolha das fibras de carbono mais avançadas do mercado, utilizamos ferramentas específicas, como software FEA(finite element analysis) de forma a mapear com precisão a direção e colocação de cada camada de fibra de carbono.
Com o software FEA, podemos simular a aplicação de diferentes forças num modelo virtual do quadro e ajustar a construção de forma a obter o resultado desejado. O software FEA permite-nos criar protótipos virtuais completos, incorporando todos os fenómenos físicos conhecidos que existem no mundo real.
Com a nossa tecnologia EvoLap, conseguimos modelar o quadro de forma a optimizar a área superficial, simular estruturas de tubos com diferentes orientações de fibras, observar os resultados de diferentes configurações e testar a distribuição de stress nas diferentes áreas do quadro. Graças a este extenso trabalho de modelação em computador, Nós’ optimizámos todas as camadas de carbono no nosso quadro. Quando as várias partes são fundidas nos primeiros protótipos, o resultado é um quadro super leve e compacto sem sacrificar a rigidez, comforto e resistência ao impacto. Perfectly compatible with 1 and 2-by drivetrains. For 1-by, the front derailleur plate can be replaced with a bike-specific chain guide or closing plate.
Aero Tube Shapes
Gravel and aero can also go hand in hand. SCOTT’s patented airfoil design has been applied to the bike's main tubes (down tube, head tube, seat tube, seat post, seat stays) with the goal of optimizing the airflow and reducing the overall drag, without any compromise on comfort and compliance.
Comfort Features
To guarantee a controlled and smooth riding experience we increased the tire clearance to 45mm, lowered the seat stays and came up with a carbon layering which guarantees both optimal pedaling efficiency and enough comfort when it gets rough.
Fender Mounts
The Addict Gravel comes with well-hidden mounts for Syncros-specific fenders, making it a perfect commuter bike as well. The tire clearance with fenders is 40mm.
Mounts
The new Addict Gravel comes with smart mounts for gear and accessories that make it ready for serious adventure rides. You will find a mounting option for bolt-on top-tube bags and accessories, an extra mount on the down tube for an additional bottle cage or toolbox, and two different bottle cage positions for better access when riding with a frame bag.
