Coming back to the last GP only two months after breaking his leg, reigning World Champion Jeffrey Herlings did his best to defend his 26 points lead, but Jordi Tixier was stronger than ever and clinched the title with his second GP win of the season.

The second edition of the Matterhorn Ultraks Trail in Zermatt took place this saturday. Almost 1’400 participants entered one of the four races «16K», «30K», «46K» and «2VK». The Moroccan Zaïd Ait Malek came out on top of the longest distance «46K», which is part of the Skyrunner® World Series. Stevie Kremer (US) entered the finish line first among the women.
