Trey Canard Grabs Another Podium in Atlanta

24 février 2015
Salt Lake City, UT | February 23, 2015 – The Monster Energy Supercross series completed it's first of two rounds to be held in the Georgia Dome of Atlanta Saturday night. A difficult and slick track lead to some exciting racing throughout the night. .

Trey Canard

Trey Canard once again qualified with pole position, coming out of day time practice with the fastest lap in the field. Trey continued to show he was the guy to beat Saturday with a decisive heat race win to set him up nicely for the main event. As he has been plagued with bad starts all year long, once again Trey found himself having to battle from the middle of the pack. Trey made quick work of the guys in front of him and was able to turn a tenth place start into a third place finish. He has now moved into second place in the championship points hunt.
Joey Savatgy

Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki teammates Joey Savatgy and Arnaud Tonus both qualified well in practice, with Savatgy taking second and Tonus nabbing fourth. Savatgy won his heat race with a last lap pass and Tonus came across in third place. In the main event though, the two teammates would come together and they would have to come up from the back. Joey salvaged a fifth place finish and Arnaud tenth.
