SCOTT ATHLETES PERFORM AT DEW TOUR

Source from Topher Plimpton The blue bird skies and warm temps helped bring the masses to Breckenridge to check out the first stop of the Winter Dew Tour. The finals started with the men's super pipe competition, in which SCOTT athlete, Noah Bowman had qualified sixth for. Noah's skiing was looking top notch in the early morning practice sessions and word at the start was spreading that he was going to pose as a serious competitor. Then, on the last hit of his last practice run of the morning, Noah caught the deck and hit his head hard, knocking him unconscious and out of the competition. He has been recovering fine, and is mostly just disappointed that he didn't get the opportunity to show off the bag of tricks he had been saving for the finals. Rest assured, Noah will be attacking the next Dew stop with more motivation than ever before. Sunday was the day for the rest of the SCOTT athletes to shine during the men's slope-style finals. Tom Wallisch, who was coming off a first place qualifying run on Friday, was having an incredible first run in the finals until a good gust of wind caused him to slightly knuckle the last jump. With a little secret sauce on his bases, and some serious determination, Tom proved to everyone that he had no intention of giving up that first place spot during his second run. He has developed a reputation for being able to make the hardest tricks appear almost effortless, and his winning run was no different, his rails and airs had Toms trademark style and his landings were seamless, providing the judges with a simple decision. ^Tom with some of his loyal fans. Canadian skier, Alexis Godbout's third place finish proved to be quite a surprise considering he was coming fresh off an injury with very little on snow preparation before the event. As you can see from the photo, he was pretty stoked to land on the podium!
