Frischy’s Olympic Scott Scale Limited
Built specifically for Frischknecht’s 2004 Olympic bid (he placed seventh), this Scott has the rarest, most expensive mountain bike wheels on the planet. According to Frischi they were a project 15 months in the making and were first ridden just two weeks before the race in Athens. Starting with 650c Ritchey WCS carbon road wheels, Dutch tire maker Dugast glued Ritchey MTB treads onto handmade cotton tubular carcasses for some of the lightest, fastest-rolling wheels ever. No, you can’t get a set, so don’t ask.
