I was born in the desert in Tucson, Arizona. I grew up riding my bike to and from the tennis courts until, one day, I realized that my transportation was more fun than my sport.
Tennis and Ice Hockey came and went but the bike was always there for me. My bike even helped me decide where to go to school!
I went to university in Durango, Colorado where I discovered snowboards and full suspension downhill mountain bikes. Ever since, I have been hooked on riding my bike and my snowboard every chance I get. I moved on from Durango to Montana to Girdwood, Alaska where for a year and a half I rode some more. After a long cold winter I needed to thaw out a bit and decided my Spanish and surfing skills could be better as well. So, I went to Costa Rica for 3 months and that is when I met my wife Corinne, a Swiss German girl from Oberbipp. I followed her back to Switzerland and have been building trails, teaching kids and riding in the Alps ever since.
I keep myself busy by riding bikes, designing and building trails for ski resorts like Morgins,CH, Les Crosets,CH, Champéry,CH, Alyeska, AK or Radical Films for movies like Kranked 6, 7 & 8. In addition, I coach bmx for a local club with 55 little rippin’ members, teach snowboarding and organize too many other projects to list.
However, having 25 chairlifts in the summer or 209 open in the winter right behind the house, leaves me lucky with the opportunity to ride all the bikes and snowboards I can handle.
