There was a strong riding scene in Prince George when I was really getting into mountain biking. At the same time iconic mountain bike films Ride to the Hills and Kranked 3 came out and created a whole new world of what riding a bike meant to me. I was so stoked on going out and building lines to ride and trying to ride like the guys I looked up too. I'm so glad I did that because I've never found anything that feels as good as flowing down a trail or catching a tranny on a mountain bike.
Like most riders out there I went to Whistler every summer to ride bikes. Back in 2002 the Summer Gravity Camps in Whistler started and I saw the opportunity ride with the guys I looked up to most. From there Andrew Shandro took me under his wing to set me on the right path but living in Prince George limited my opportunities to get exposure in the riding scene. To make a career I had to move. I have most fun on my bike just shredding, so my ultimate goal was to create movie segments. This past year I was given the opportunity to build a trail with my riding bro Curtis Robinson, and teammates Dylan Dunkerton and Kyle Jameson for Kranked 8. Dream come true and it isn't stopping there.
My life revolves around riding bikes with my friends and searching for something new to ride. Exploration is one of the funnest parts of being a mountain biker. Where to find me: Riding the local trails on the coast, coaching with Summer Gravity Camps up in Whistler as well as shredding with all my bro's, or maybe a trail near you!
