Gareth Swanepoel

Gareth Swanepoel, originally from South Africa, now resides in Southern California. Gareth first joined Star Racing Yamaha for his 2010 US professional debut in the outdoor series. In 2011 Gareth won his first moto in the US at Southwick rounding out the event with a 3rd overall. Prior to joining Star Valli Yamaha, Swanepoel was one of the top World Championship racers in the European countries, earning many top finishes and even claimed British Championship titles. Gareth was an instant success in the last few rounds of the Outdoor Lites Championship races where finished top ten easily. Since then, the friendly rider has dreamed of racing in the states fulltime, and now he is going to do just that.
