IAM Goes 1-2 at Tour of Belgium

30 May 2016
Despite the devastating start of the week with the announcement of the team owner to cease sponsorship after 2016, the team raced their hearts out in Belgium. Reto Hollenstein in 3rd and Martin Elmiger in 6th kicked off the Tour with considerable success during the prologue. On stage 2, Dries Devenyns made his winning move to take the stage win and the leader's jersey which he defended until the final day. On the same day, Reto Hollenstein who was also part of the first group secured his second place in the overall classification. While the third stage was called off after a disastrous mass pile-up which was caused by motorbikes, the general classification remained unchanged on the last day. Devenyns victory at the Tour of Belgium marks the end of a successful week for the Swiss-based team.
