SCOTT to announce long-term sponsorship with Zermatt Marathon
SCOTT is delighted to announce its long-term sponsorship with the extraordinarily beautiful Zermatt Marathon. With years of experience in developing mountain sports products, SCOTT works alongside with some of the world's top mountain running athletes to create the most technical range of trail and mountain running shoes, apparel and gear.
A staggering elevation of more than 1,900 metres will have to be surmounted to win the race starting in St. Niklaus at 1,085 metres above sea level, up to the world-famous resort of Zermatt (1,616), and finishing on Riffelberg, towering 2,585 metres amidst 29 four-thousand-meter summits. An immensity of wild nature along this marathon course of 42.195 kilometres awaits discovery.
