Three-peat for Collomb Patton at FWT Chamonix

There was a mystical atmosphere today in Flégère ski area as the clouds parted an unveiled the snow-capped peaks of one of Europe’s most legendary freeride venues. Riders in each of the four divisions, male and female, ski and snowboard, raised the bar for their respective sports and shook up the overall rankings for the 2016 Swatch Freeride World Tour.
After a rocky start, this winter has been kind to Chamonix as heavy snows have blanked the magnificent peaks of the Aiguilles Rouge range in recent days.
Our freeride athlete Loïc Collomb Patton (FRA) has during the past three years been killing the competition wide amazing riding and in the end been the sole winner of the FWT contest in Chamonix.
This year was no different! Loïc started off with some nice powder turns down the fall line, charging over a first drop where he throws down a back-flip. He does not stop there, instead he charge down and over three more huge drops before he goes over the finish line with an amazing adrenaline kick.
Big congrats to Loïc on the great performance! It will be exciting to see what you have for us on the next stop in Fieberbrunn, Austria on the 5th of March.
