Grenade Pro reviewed

07 March 2014

The SCOTT Grenade Pro II Knee and Elbow Guards have been reviewed by the leading bike magazines. Here is what the editors wrote.

Pinkbike: "Scott's Grenade Pro II could well be the best kneepad out there right now. They provide downhill-levels of protection with trail comfort and they stay in place better than anything else we have used thanks to the clever position of the lower strap. Scott have proved beyond doubt that it's possible to make a single kneepad suitable for every type of riding, but it does come at a price."

Vital MTB: "If you're in the market for a full on DH knee pad, the Scott Grenade Pro II is a cut above the norm and you'll be stoked on how low profile they are.  This is far and away the best set of kneepads I've ever worn. The price tag could cause a bit of grumbling, but to me, aside from a helmet and a neck brace, kneepads are the most important form of protection when riding rugged terrain. These babies are cheaper than surgery and stitches, and they serve double duty for both DH and trail."

Enduro Magazine: "You got to love these kneepads, wether you are a DH rider or a Trail entusiast. The "Feel Good Factor" is enormous and with teh D3O concept some great protection is guaranteed."

Freeride Magazine: "Knee protectors with a good fit and compact built, which does not slip when crashing. We especially liked the protection function of the D3O material. Very well manufactured!"
