How and when did you start skiing, how has it evolved ever since, and what got you into freeskiing?
My mom was an avid skier and had me skiing at a young age. I played all types of sports growing up, including soccer in college, but nothing got me excited as skiing. Being in the mountains and the freedom it allows is like nothing else. I knew that's what I wanted so I quit soccer and chased my dream.
Was there any particular experience that made you consider pursuing skiing professionally?
As soon as I found out people made a living freeriding I knew that's what I wanted to do.
Who were/are your idols on and off the hill?
Scott Schmidt and Seth Morrison. They are 2 game changers that opened my eyes to so much.
What does skiing mean to you personally?
Skiing has been my life since early teenage years. I've sacrificed so much to be where I am today...it means everything to me.
Do you have any specific goals for your skiing in your future?
I like to step outside my comfort zone. As long as I'm continually learning and growing I'll always be happy in the mountains and on skis. My goal is simple...continue to push myself in the big mountains and have as much fun as possible.
What aspect of skiing thrills you the most?
Alaska...there's nothing else like it that I've found yet. It's a whole other dimension.
In what conditions and what terrain do you most enjoy riding?
I like soft snow and steep terrain...specifically spines.
Any activities that aren't ski related?
BASE jumping, skydiving, mountain biking and Nitro Circusing.
How do you manage to combine family/friends and job?
I don't know yet...I haven't figured that one out. It's a constant challenge keeping everyone happy while continuing to pursue your goals and dreams. You just work hard and make it work!

What do you like about SCOTT?
SCOTT has defined itself through years of experience. They make quality gear and continually push their developments and growth. They are a great company to be a part of in more ways than one.
What are your favorite SCOTT products?
The Fix goggle...it fits my face well, the peripheral vision is great and they don't fog on me in poor conditions.
What SCOTT products are you using this year?
Off-Grid goggle and the Team Issue pole.
Who are your other sponsors?
Rockstar, DNA, Hurley, GoPro, Backcountry.com and Klint
Where would you like to see yourself in 5 years?
Hopefully still playing in the mountains...I can't see myself doing anything else.
People you feel you need to thank:
I'd like to thank my wife Annika and son Oskar for all the support, love and understanding they have for me. And of course my sponsors for allowing me to live the dream.
