How and when did you start skiing, how has it evolved ever since and what got you into freeskiing?
Freeski is all my life. I started to ski offpiste with my parents when I was young. And then I practiced 4 years monoskiing. I evolved with moguls, and aerial skiing. And for the past 15 years I've been a freeskier pro.
Who were/are your idols on and off the hill?
This is not really an idol but a person I respect and push me to continue the way: Shane McConkey.
What does skiing mean to you personally?
Skiing is not only my job, I feel great when I'm on the mountain, the elements are around you and you play with them. Whether contest, shooting or free sessions with friends. All pro freeskiers should remember that.
What were your 3 biggest accomplishments on hill and why?
First one is to be lucky to live my passion. The second have managed some good results in competitions and and the last is to have created an event bringing together the trip, fun and friends.
What aspect of skiing thrills you the most?
Powder, steep face, cliff range, forest, mushrooms, couloir, exposure, lips, cornice, aiguille, canyon.
In what conditions and what terrain do enjoy riding the most?

Any activities that aren’t ski related?
Training is really important between seasons. Biking, climbing, running in the mountain are the main activities.
How do you manage to combine family/friends and job?
For sure this is not easy during the winter. I'm always on the road and my wife works in her restaurant. We try to be organized to have a good balance together. Regarding my friends, I see them all through the winter. So when season is over, I like to have easy time in family.

What do you like about SCOTT?
I like the spirit and professionalism of the company. We shared 14 years together. I have seen a lot in the development of winter products. And they have THE man in ski development: Hervé Maneint.
What are your favorite SCOTT products?
For 5 years, I've skied on "The Pure" 193. I feel free and secure with it. And now I want to push the MegaDozer and Powd'air.

Where would you like to see yourself in 5 years?
I don't know where I will be and what I will do in one year so in five? The one thing I am sure of is that I will still be passionate about skiing.
