Christian Meier spent 2011 in the ranks of American squad UnitedHealthcare, having previously ridden for Garmin-Transitions at the ProTour level. Next season sees the 26-year-old return to the sport’s highest level. “I’m very excited about the prospect of returning to the World Tour and being part of such an ambitious project,” he said.
Whilst he is a relatively experienced campaigner, the former Canadian national champion knows he’ll learn from the likes of Stuart O’Grady, Baden Cooke and Matt Wilson.
"I’ll be able to learn plenty from these guys and continue to develop as a rider. I’m also looking forward to racing with my good friend, and fellow Canadian, Svein Tuft again."
