Victory and Title for Nicolas Pianet, Podium for Pascal Giguet

Another victory for the Team SCOTT/Odlo/Les Saisies: Nicolas Pianet won the Marathon Race (36km) in Annecy in a brilliant time of 4 hours 10 minutes. Having won this very technical and tough race with around 2.700m climb, Nicolas has also become French champion in sky-marathon.

In the men’s Maxi Race (88km), young Philipp Reiter took the honours after chasing down the early leader Pascal Giguet and overtaking Hungary’s Nemeth Czaba in the last 20 kilometres to win with an impressive 21 mins at the finish line.
