SCOTT becomes new bike sponsor of Zoot Sports triathlon team

SCOTT USA announced today that it will become the new equipment sponsor to the Zoot Sports Pro/Am Triathlon team. The team will ride the carbon Plasma triathlon frame equipped with Shimano Dura-Ace, Zipp wheels and Profile components.

The Pro team roster will include:

Kalen Darling
Kelly Handel
Adam Jensen
Stephanie Jones
Amy Marsh
Brandon Marsh
Ben Schloegel
Danielle Sullivan
Bree Wee

“This Pro/Am platform will expand the visibility of our Triathlon product at the regional level, as well as grow our exposure at national events,” commented Adrian Montgomery. “This is an expansion upon our already significant efforts in the Triathlon market. We feel confident that having more soldiers on the front lines will increase the word of mouth endorsements of our Triathlon products. We also see many new faces rising to the top of the sport. I hope that we can develop a relationship with another rider who can be a contender in Kona, and that they will come from the Zoot Sports team.”

The Amateur portion of the team will consist of another 25 athletes that have not been finalized. Scott and Zoot Sports look forward to making another announcement when the amateur team is determined. They will also use the same equipment as the professionals.

In other Scott Triathlon news, Cameron Brown has moved onto another sponsor. We wish him luck in the future and appreciate his efforts since joining the Scott team.
