Simon wins again, keeping Scott Team in the lead
Simon took advantage of strong legs to win the first and the second stages of Tour of São Paulo.
The longest stage, from Sorocaba to São Carlos, was won by the Scott/ Marcondes Cesar/ São José dos Campos rider Edgardo Simon, who has now won two stages in a row and guaranteed his team the lead over more than 140 riders in this tour.
“It was a complicated and hard Stage. I was not feeling good at all in the begining, but my teamates worked hard during the stage and kept me confident to win in the final sprint one more time.”

Simon is the newest member of the Scott Team, and has confirmed in this tour his professionalism and good form by working with the team to keep the good results coming so far.
“Our teamwork today was the key to winning one more stage. We have a very strong team because the guys have trained seriously to win this Tour. Of course nothing has been decided yet in this race. We have to keep focused on the race until the last stage and not take it for granted at the start. We will work on it very seriously,” said Team Manager Carlinhos.
