Reed brings the broom to A3

Sun Valley, ID – Fresh off a come from behind win in last week’s swampy conditions, Chad Reed looked to keep the ball rolling with a victory in the weekends race in Anaheim. Reed struggled in his heat race and was uncharacteristically out of sync in a critical rhythm section of the track. In contrast Davey Millsaps and Kevin Windham both had solid rides in their heat race. The main event looked to be a showdown.

 In the main Chad Reed made things easier on himself by grabbing the holeshot. Even with Windham hounding him for the first four laps,  Reed was able to focus and do what it took to maintain his lead. By mid-race Reed had the track dialed and put in consistent laps to take the victory. By winning all the Anaheim rounds this year Chad Reed joins James Stewart as one of the only riders to sweep Anaheim in a season.
