MMI Learns about Genius Boot

Orlando, FL - Scott’s own Primo Marotto visited the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI) campus in Orlando, FL recently to conduct a seminar on the safety features and innovations of the Genius boot.
Between 40 and 50 students showed up for the two sessions conducted by Marotto. Emphasizing that the Genius is better categorized with the neck and knee braces that are now a standard in the motocross industry, Marotto detailed the characteristics that allow the boot to be more than just a piece of footwear.

The boot is designed to protect the foot and lower leg by utilizing rigid materials and an innovative pivot system. Primo explained how the DuPont materials provide better protection from impact than conventional leather and how the pivot system allow natural ankle movement while limiting over-extension.

The students at MMI welcomed Scott with open arms and were very encouraged by Scott’s drive to provide the best products for the industry they love. Thanks goes out to Chris Reo and the entire MMI staff for their hospitality.
