We are welcoming Portuguese trail runner Dário Moitoso as a new Ambassador to the SCOTT Running Team

We are delighted to announce that Portuguese trail runner Dário Moitoso, 28, joins SCOTT Running as an Ambassador. Based in trail running paradise, the Azores, Portugal, he has won several national trail races and is a 2 x National Trail Champion (2019 & 2020) and a National Ultra Trail Champion (2021). He also claimed 7th position at UTMB – OCC in 2019.

On Saturday March 19th 2022, wearing black and yellow for the first time, Dário stood again at the starting line of the National Trail Championships in Valongo, Portugal with the aim of winning his third title. However, it was not his lucky day. Struggling with the heat and cramps during most of the 48km and 2,500m of elevation gain, his 4th place finish is an incredible achievement.

A big shout-out to Dário and we’re sure that he will be ready to attack again in the next races!
