9 Knights 2012
Once again we had a really successful weekend. Three of our riders (Jonas Hunziker, Roy Kittler and Tom Wallisch) delivered an unbelievable performance at the Big Air Contest of the 9 Knights in Livigno (ITA).
With a Double 1080 Dub Mute and a Double 1260 Safety on his final run, Jonas ended up on the podium in third place.
With his 3rd place finish at the FIS Freestyle Junior World Championship, along with his new title of Swiss Freeski Champion in Slopestyle, this is another fabulous result for Jonas to add to the list.
In addition, Roy Kittler (GER) threw down a very nice Switch Double Wobble 9 Mute and a Bio 1440 Blunt, earning him 5th place in Big Air.
Roy also claimed MVP of the event for charging hard all week and getting the most hits on the incredible feature. For the majority of the athletes, this was the last competition of this season, so all of them gave it their best, resulting in a lot of impressive tricks and solid results for SCOTT.
Last but not least Tom Wallisch made the trip to Italy, and was crowned “Best Big Air overall Ruler” for his impressive performances on the kicker all week.
