WARNING OF FRAUDULENT OFFERS ON THE INTERNET

In light of recent events SCOTT would like to warn consumers about diverse alleged online suppliers offering fictitious trademarked goods – inter alia SCOTT products – on their homepages. Such suppliers (often originating from Asia, mostly Indonesia, but SCOTT has also identified some suppliers originating from Europe) misuse the name of reputable companies and attract consumers with low priced goods. Unfortunately, it has already occurred that after accomplishment of advanced payment by consumers the delivery of the respective products never happened, in other words the supplier keeps the payment and the products.

SCOTT would like to point out that it can only guarantee the originality of its products purchased through an official SCOTT dealer. Therefore, SCOTT recommends consumers to verify the origin of the products and reliability of the respective online supplier beforehand. SCOTT shall be exempted from any liability in this matter.
