Introducing Jens Mouris. The Dutch journeyman adds weight to the GreenEDGE squad. Literally. His 197cm, 91kg frame is set to be a useful addition to the team in the spring classics.

Like many of the Australians in the team, Jens began his cycling career on the track. He has won individual pursuits and Madisons at World Cup level. His first Grand Tour came in 2009 when he did the Vuelta a España and finished the prologue in fourth against the likes of Fabian Cancellara.

While knows how to survive the rigours of a three-week race, it’s in the tough environment of Holland and Belgium in the spring where Jens really excels. He was signed to GreenEDGE for his ability to handle heavy workloads, protect his leaders and handle his bike on the tricky roads of the big cobblestoned classics.
One of the big workhorses for the team who drills himself into the ground at the front of the peloton in support of the team objectives.
Has made a valuable contribution to both silver medal winning performances in the team time trial at the 2013 and 2014 world championships, a key objective for ORICA-GreenEDGE each season.
