Material technologies like a patented AMP Rose lens tint, which filters available light to highlight terrain contrasts, Winter Seal vent foam that was specifically created to exclude fine snow dust from the goggle interior, and molded oversized HydroX face foam, which helps protect exposed facial areas from dangerous wind chill, help to enhance product function. This goggle also comes with a model-specific version of the extremely successful Polar Shield nose/face guard found on the 89Xi Turbo.

  • High Quality Woven Strap with silicone:

    This size adjustable strap is designed to hold stretch and shape and will not degrade from weather or sunlight. Lined with silicone to eliminate strap slippage on the helmet.

  • RAM Air Ventilation:

    RAM (Revolutionary Air Management) directs airflow within the goggle utilizing a clean and controlled, top-to-bottom pattern, eliminating "swirling air" and fogging.

  • Double buckle strap adjustment:

    Double buckles allow for a more precise fit of the strap, while keeping strap-fitting time to a minimum.

  • Oversized HydroX Face Foam:

    Oversized to help protect exposed skin around the goggle frame, and selected for its hydrophobic properties, HydroX face foam seals and manages perspiration well.

  • Polar Shield nose/face guard:

    The Polar Shield nose/face guard was designed specifically to fit Xi Snow goggles for added protection from the elements.

  • Winter Seal Vent Foam:

    Like dust, snow can be an eye irritant if it gets in your goggles. The Snow Series features Winter Seal vent foam that has compact pore density (small pores) that will not allow fine snow crystals to pass through.

  • Thermal Lexan® Anti-Fog:

    Scott lenses are constructed from .030 hardcoated lexan, for maximum protection from roost and foreign objects. Dual, Thermal lens with Anti-Fog coating to combat fogging and reduce condensation.
