Der MXGP ist perfekt gelaufen für die Scott-Fahrer: Clement Desalle und Pauls Jonass gewannen die neunte Runde der Motocross Weltmeisterschaft vor einem riesigen, begeisterten Publikum. Pauls Jonass ist weiter führend bei den MX2-Serien, ebenso wie Chiara Fontanesi (WMX), Morgan Lesiardo (EMX 250) und Brian Moreau (EMX 125).
Mit dem sechsten Podiumsplatz in der laufenden Saison in Deutschland baut Jonass seine Führung in der MX2-Weltmeisterschaft nach acht Runden aus. Er stand neben Hunter Lawrence auf dem Podium. Der junge Australier feiert seinen ersten Podiumsplatz mit einem zweiten Platz hinter dem Teamkollegen Jeremy Seewer. Die Geschichte geht nächste Woche in Frankreich weiter und Pauls wird seine Werks-KTM einmal mehr mit der roten Plakette bestücken.

Nur eine Woche nach Italien kamen die FIM Motocross Weltmeisterschaften auf einen weiteren spannenden Grand Prix in die Niederlande. Der Führende in der MX2-Serie sicherte sich in Valkenswaard einen weiteren Doppelsieg, und bereits in zwei Wochen wird er bei seinem Heimat-Grand-Prix in Kegums (Lettland) als Führender in der Serie antreten. In der Europaklasse erzielten Brian Moreau (EMX125) und Morgan Lesiardo (EMX250) jeweils einen Podiumsplatz.
Der Gewinner in Katar bei der großen Eröffnungsrunde der Motocross Weltmeisterschaft 2017, Pauls Jonass, meldet sich in Argentinien mit einem Doppelsieg zurück. Der lettische Fahrer meldet sich auf zweiter Position nach drei Runden in der Serie zurück.
