Career highlights: I don't have proper career highlights, just a whole bunch of unforgettable moments on my trusty bike. I've been a cycling enthusiast since the early 2000s. From MTB to road, gravel to triathlon, I've raced, trained and dropped watt bombs. I've raced in some of Europe's most beautiful spots, from Tuscany to the famous Alpine passes, and I'm always looking for new challenges and adventures. In short, I live and breathe cycling, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Athleten Talk

What is your all-time favourite riding destination?

The French Pyrenees are my all-time favorite riding destination. I've ridden all over Europe, but there's just something special about the childhood roads of the Pyrenees. It's like a warm hug from my mum, who just happens to be an excellent cook. Every time I visit, I'm guaranteed unforgettable riding experiences and a full belly - it's the ultimate two-wheeled, gastronomic adventure!

What are you excited about with your partnership with SCOTT?

SCOTT and I go way back - over 10 years to be exact. I was drawn to Switzerland because of this brand and haven't looked back since. Being part of the SCOTT family has been a wild ride and now, joining the ambassador team is just the cherry on top. I'm ready to share my passion for two-wheeled adventures and bring a smile to the SCOTT community's faces.

What does "No Shortcuts" mean to you?

Embracing the journey, with all of its ups and downs, good and bad days. It's about appreciating the little things in life, like sweat, the occasional tarmac kiss, the rush of pushing your limits on a bike and the famous coffee stop.

What do you get up to when you’re not out riding?

When not riding, I focus on photography and bike mechanics. Capturing the world through my lens and fine-tuning my bike or helping others with their rides is my way of always learning and improving.

Outside of cycling, where do you draw inspiration from?

I draw inspiration from watching others master their craft, whether it's swimming or making a great cup of coffee. I find it fascinating to see the passion and dedication that goes into becoming truly excellent at something.

You’re stranded on a desert island. What three things would you want with you?

I'd want a frisbee, a ukulele, and a parrot to keep me entertained and (sort of) sane. That way, I could play frisbee with my new parrot friend while serenading it with island tunes on my ukulele. Of course, if the parrot gets tired of hearing my singing, I'll have the frisbee to keep me entertained. It's a win-win situation for everyone.

If you could put up a billboard to be seen by countless people every day, what would you put on it?

A 5-year old's drawing of a bike and the words 'Life is a journey, enjoy the ride.' Indeed, life is all about the journey and the experiences we have along the way. Whether it's exploring new roads on a bike or just living each day to the fullest, it's the journey that counts.
