Roldal Freeride Challenge
28 February 2012
The competition face “Couloir 3” is a well-used face for the Roldal Freeride Challenge. A playful venue with a wide range of cliffs and wind lips to drop. The snow on top of the competition face was packed and icy but things were getting much better further down.
Scott team rider Lorraine Huber seemed to enjoy the Norwegian mountains and could handle the last minute change of venue pretty well. She got over her nervousness at the start and took second after hitting several cliffs and riding fluid. Contratulations!!
Fellow Scott team rider Jacky Paaso earned fourth and still sits in second position on the overall ranking! Scott team athletes Jess McMillan and Stefan Häusl came 6th and 12th.
Next stop will be Fieberbrunn!
