Like riding on another planet - Best of Iceland’s singletracks
Iceland is raw and rough. A full-suspension e-mountain bike is the perfect tool to explore technical singletracks in stunning landscapes. Trails can be narrow, technical, steep and loose. Each ride includes short climbs and descents throughout the day.
We suggest arriving a day before and departing a day after the trip.
This trip is for riders with good technical skills and a good endurance level, who are happy to embrace the elements and stay in the saddle for 4-5 hours a day in all kinds of weather.

Program
Join local riders to explore the hidden trails of Iceland.
Today our playground is Mt. Hengill, known for its beautiful geothermal areas. Steam rises from the ground, and we ride past bubbling pools of mud. This is raw nature! Expect a morning and an afternoon ride (2-3hours each) with a lunch break.
Today we head out from the town of Hveragerði towards the highlands. On our menu today: Iceland’s second largest waterfall which sits in a long canyon. Let’s go explore! We ride in the morning and in the afternoon (Approx. 2.5 hours each) with a lunch break.
A support vehicle brings us into “Fjallabak” area where many of the most iconic pictures of Iceland have been shot. Views change at every turn as we drive through a black sand desert to reach the colorful rhyolite areas that we will ride throughout the day. Today includes approx. 5 hours biking.
Post ride: hop on the support vehicle. It’s going to be a 2-hour drive back towards civilization.
Breakfast in village of Hveragerði, then time to check out and hop on the support vehicle that brings us further into Mt. Hengill area. This time we’ll explore the northern side of the mountains facing Thingvellir national park.
Full day of riding. End in the afternoon.
