MIPS® EVOLVE
MIPS® Evolve is a rotational management system that not only can lower the energies transferred to the head during an impact or crash, but does this with added style, comfort and fit. The system consists of a Low Friction Layer (LFL) that is less than 1mm thick with a low friction coating that lessens the friction towards the energy absorbing layer. The LFL is tailor-made for every helmet and size and sits between the impact absorbing layer and the padding. The MIPS® safety system is designed to work together with the ventilation channels and padding to give the user a safer helmet with great style, fit and comfort. The MIPS® Evolve utilizes the latest Mips technology to hold the LFL in place during daily use. Every part is designed and manufactured for the best possible user experience.
Ionic+
Ionic+ harnesses the power of positive ions to fight microbes on soft surfaces. The primary mechanism of action behind Ionic+ is the release of silver ions from the fabric. With Ionic+ incorporated into products, positively charged ions are released in the presence of moisture (such as moisture vapor naturally emitted by the skin). This ionic action helps inhibit and eliminate microbes on the surface of the product, protecting it from microbial impacts. (biocidal active substance: silver nitrate (CAS: 7761-88-8) )
Aero Optimized
Our Aero-optimized helmets were developed in cooperation with our Pro athletes. Designed and engineered to maximize aerodynamics, these helmets allow for that precious increase in rider speed. Extensive testing in the wind tunnels allowed us to minimize drag in multiple head positions.
PC In-Mold Construction
During the in-mold manufacturing process, the outer shell of polycarbonate material is fused with the helmet’s impact-absorbent foam liner, creating a super-lightweight outer shell. With reduced weight and bulk surrounding the head, in-mold helmets are more comfortable than traditional helmets.
MRAS 2 FIT SYSTEM
The MRAS Fit System offers full adjustability to ensure a customized and comfortable fit for your head shape. Adjust the height of the rear ergonomic cradle and dial in the perfect pressure using the micro adjustment dial. MRAS ensures your helmet fits securly and comfortably, leaving you to focus on the road or trail ahead.
