The more openly woven structure of Quantum Air fabrics allows airflow through the fabric, which helps to regulate your body heat and keep you comfortable for longer. This balance of air permeability and wind resistance means Pertex® Quantum Air fabrics are perfectly suited to intense mountain pursuits. A durable water repellent (DWR) finish provide additional weather protection.
DRYOsphere
DRYOsphere is SCOTT proprietary non-porous hydrophilic waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane. This technology is protecting you against water and wind while enabling extra heat to escape keeping you dry and confortable in any condition. DRYOsphere is available in a 2L, 2,5L or 3L constructions.
PFC Free
Perfluorinated and polyfluorinated compounds, also known as PFCs, are a group of fluorinated substances that have long been used as durable water repellence for clothing in the outdoor industry are very bad for the environment because they are very stable, and do not easily break down in nature. Therefore, PFC free/ C0 DWR treatments have been developed. They are less durable but more sustainable.
