While still competing in the Orienteering World Cup, he decided to get involved in a few trail running races as well as the very specific Vertical Kilometer discipline. He was right.

The Skyrunner European Championship took place at the legendary race of Zegama. Once again international athletes and locals alike have come back to battle it out on a challenging terrain true to original Skyrunning standards.
The race in the west island of the Canaries, La Palma, has been kicking off the Skyrunning season for the past 3 years and certainly delivered once again.
