Just because you're a kid doesn't mean you can't ride with the best athletes out there !

Raoul and Emric from les 9 Roues recently met up with one of their heroes, Vincent Tupin, to learn a thing or two from the seasoned pro

Raoul and Emric Schneeberger are 14 and 11 ("almost 12") years old and ride like the pros! As SCOTT ambassadors, they have the opportunity to ride with the best athletes out there. Could you imagine being able to ride with the athletes you look up to at such a young age?

WHAT FUTURE PRO IS ABOUT?

At SCOTT we believe that kids, just like adults, should benefit from the best bikes out there. This is why we created our Future Pro line-up.

Our Future Pro bikes are created with one goal: elevating the rising stars of tomorrow. This line up features bikes with lightweight alloy frames and the best components to match the skills of progressive riders, young and

During these two days, the goal was to find bikeparks in Switzerland and just ride and have fun.

The first meeting point was at Thun's bikepark in the canton of Bern. In the morning it was more about getting to know the place and to hit some jumps. Emric and Raoul were able to show their personality on their bikes.

While Raoul is more into downhill, Emric has a strong style and is able to send massive whips on his Future Pro Ransom.

"The Ransom is super comfortable and is perfect for my height. It's a versatile bike for enduro, freeride, freestyle, and downhill"
- Emric

Emric rides a Future Pro Ransom 600, with 26" wheels and 140/130mm travel front and rear. This bike is a real game-changer for the future DH racer. Emeric's height is 144 cm and his inseam is 68cm.

Emric and Raoul are part of the family called Les 9 Roues. They've been travelling around Europe with their parents to get the chance to ride the best bikeparks out there. For these two young guns, it is also the opportunity to meet global athletes and to ride with them learning from the best. However, the learning isn't only one directional. Athletes usually also learn a thing or two from these two teenagers.

Ask-tessa

"It's always fun to follow Emeric and Raoul. I can see them doing whips everywhere and with strong style. When I ride with them I completely forget that they're only teenagers.
- Vincent Tupin

On the second day they went to the new bike park in Valbirse in canton Bern, Switzerland. Despite the weather conditions they were able to find activities to do in the morning. Before jumping on the bike both Emric and Raoul got new "fast" haircuts and created the "Mullet gang" with Vincent. The afternoon was more about riding and jumping on the area's trails.

Ask-tessa

"Riding with Vincent or with any pro rider is super nice, they show us a lot of stuff. We try to follow them, sometimes it's cool because they show us the things they do that are a little special and which we don't necessarily do, and they teach us a lot."
- Raoul

"For me the Gambler is the perfect bike, it's very versatile and I use it for freeride. It's very easy to handle for tricks. As it is also a light bike it's also perfect for downhill."
- Raoul

Ask-tessa

Raoul rides a size small Gambler 900 with 27.5" wheels and a 203mm travel fork associated with a 200mm rear shock. Raoul's height is 167cm and his inseam is 82cm.
