«Last year already, the SCOTT Addict was one of our testers’ favorites. The frameset features all the modern standards. But this year, the color is really an eyecatcher. To make it look even better, it now comes with 5mm wider tires - the Schwalbe G-One are a perfect match. Light and comfortable, these 40mm wide tires are just missing a little bit of traction on loose gravel. Components include Sram’s Force-1-Group and the light Syncros carbon wheels, which even enhance the racing DNA of the Addict. Thanks to the volume of the tires, the reduced comfort of the carbon wheels almost goes unnoticed. On asphalt and smooth gravel roads the Addict is by far the fastest bike. However, for longer rides we would wish more comfort and stability.»
