SCOTT Sports is thrilled to share exciting news from the inaugural Allianz FIS Freeride World Championships Andorra 2026 by Mammut, where Polish SCOTT athlete Zuzanna Witych claimed the World Champion title in the Ski Women category, closely followed by Team USA’s Molly Armanino in third place.
Following exceptional recent snowfall, the competition took place in outstanding freeride conditions on the legendary Basser Negre face (2,687 m). Despite a delayed start due to visibility challenges, the event delivered an unforgettable spectacle, bringing together the world’s top freeriders against a breathtaking mountain backdrop. A landmark triumph for SCOTT and Poland in the Ski Women Category

We're proud to announce that SCOTT athlete Zuzanna Witych (POL) has been crowned the very first FIS Freeride World Champion in the Ski Women category.
Even as conditions worsened, Zuzanna stayed composed, intelligently read the terrain, and delivered a masterful performance that earned her a score of 80.33 and the historic world title. Her run showcased precision, creativity, and the kind of focused execution that defines champions.
This victory represents not only a personal milestone for Zuzanna but also a proud moment for the entire SCOTT Sports family and the freeride community. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Zuzanna, the Polish team, and all the athletes who made this inaugural FIS Freeride World Championship so memorable.

"Representing my country as the only Polish competitor in this event means everything to me, this is a milestone to build a strong Freeride community there. I couldn’t be happier to take the win, everything went to plan and I could do the run I wanted, even though tthe weather change at the end made it a bit bittersweet. I am very happy to be part of the SCOTT Team and have good support at every comp"

Molly Armanino secures Bronze for Team USA

SCOTT athlete Molly Armanino (USA) delivered a clean, high-energy run on the iconic Basser Negre face, earning a well-deserved bronze medal and completing an impressive double podium for SCOTT in the Ski Women category

Despite challenging conditions and a heavily tracked face from earlier competitors, Molly showcased her signature high-speed style, precise control, and expert line choice. She managed speed checks flawlessly, aired into demanding terrain, adapted seamlessly to existing tracks and bomb holes, and maintained flow with powerful turns and multiple airs in the lower section. Her mistake-free performance earned her a score of 74.00 points, securing 3rd place in this landmark event.

This bronze medal not only highlights a strong result for Team USA but also underscores Molly’s consistency and ability to perform under pressure in one of the season’s most significant competitions.
