SCOTT Wins Big at 2013 Powder Awards

21 enero 2013

Park City, UT: Under the bright lights of the 2013 Powder Awards hosted at Park City Live and distributed worldwide live online, SCOTT Sports took home two of the most coveted and prestigious prizes of the night.  Team manager Topher Plimpton and Corey Felton took home Best P.O.V. in a landslide, and Tom Wallisch secured the Men's Reader Poll award for an unprecedented third year in a row.

After winning yet another Powder Reader Poll, perhaps the most sought-after award for any freeski athlete, Powder chimed in on Mr. Wallisch: "Back in the the top spot for a third year in a row, Wallisch's three-peat is well deserved.  He laid down some of the best lines we saw in Level 1's Sunny.  He also won Slopestyle at last year's Dew Tour and the Winter X-Games.  Now, he's filming his own two-year project and looking towards the Olympics."

Speech

Corey Felton and Topher Plimpton charged a steep, narrow couloir and captured it from a myriad of angles to take home Best P.O.V. (and narrowly missed out on Best Line).  As Powder noted, "Who says team managers can't ski?  Probably the Jaded Local.  However, tonight Topher Plimpton, the team manager for SCOTT took home the "Best P.O.V." Award with his pal Corey Felton for their dual descent in Two Plank Productions' Because.

SCOTT Sports is proud to support athletes like Tom, Topher, and Corey, and would like to congratulate them each on their big wins!
