SCOTT Sports SA is an international sporting goods company. We develop, produce and market bike, motorsport, ski and running products worldwide. For our international headquarters in Givisiez/Fribourg we are looking for fitting models to control measurements on apparel prototypes.
Fitting Model (m/f) - Freelancer
You will work together with our designers, developers and pattern makers and play an important role by giving feedback on the fit, movement and feel of the garment. In the fitting sessions you will mainly fit bike, running and hiking apparel. If you are experienced in biking, running or hiking it is a plus but not mandatory.
SCOTT is currently looking for fitting models in size M for men and size M for women to work in our headquarters office in Givisiez/Fribourg. With your help and feedback, we can ensure the right fit and feel for our bike, running and hiking collections.

- Handle the industrial 3D file in close relation with Designers and factories
- Validate tooling, material choice and process with our team
- Follow-up the tests to reach the performance and product safety / life-time targets
- Visit the suppliers to validate the process
- Assist our Product Managers, Designers and factories to ensure the feasibility of the products according to the specifications
- Assist our marketing team with preparing and presenting product workshops
- Manage your assigned projects (respect of time-lines until the start of production)
Your profile:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience, preferably as a bike engineer
- Advanced user knowledge of 3D software (PTC Creo would be a strong asset)
- Ability to work in an engineering team, with proven collaboration and communication skills
- Project management experience
- Creativity and an appreciation of good design
- User knowledge of FEA software (Simulate / Ansys is a plus)
- Knowledge of bicycle mechanics
- Avid Biker
- Willingness to travel internationally
- An excellent level of English in required, German, French or Chinese is an advantage

- Responsible for all fabric & material related tasks in the Scott group
- Built and lead the fabric team across our organization
- Responsible for seasonal fabric planning/booking/order tasks from proto sample to bulk production
- Define, develop and maintain long-term supplier relationships, built on performance, trust and integrity
- Be a part of the Scott CSR team
- Create and maintain a fabric management system (fabric database) across the softgoods division
- Attendance at major fabric fairs to research and identify new fabric trends and innovations
- Build a fabric library for designers, product line managers, garment developers
- Work closely with our international offices
- Ensure that all fabrics/materials are tested and adhere to SCOTT quality standards
- Ensure to reduce leftover fabric based on fabric sharing and fabric management system
- Manage of material quality issue and provide feedback on supplier performance
- Degree in Textile/Garment Engineering or at least 10 years’ experience in fabric/material development, fabric/material testing, fabric/material sourcing
- In-depth knowledge in performance textiles
- Proven experience traveling to and working in mills and factories worldwide in an independent and self-motivated manner
- Fluent business English & very good knowledge of German or French with an extensive technical vocabulary
- Good negotiation and conflict management skills, strong problem solving skills and a leader ship personality
- Experienced on working with a PDM system, good skills in Microsoft-Office & Adobe Illustrator
- Readiness to travel

Parts and Warranty Technician (Bike)
Scott-Sports is seeking a qualified individual for our Parts and Warranty Technician at our Ogden, UT offices. This is an hourly nonexempt position and will report to the Warranty Department manager. You will be responsible for managing all warranty claims in the US from dealers and customers as it relates to our products. The schedule for this position will be Monday -Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm with occasional overtime and weekends when needed. Those with experience working in bike and sporting good shops are strongly encouraged to apply. Pay will be based on experience, ability’s and product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Quickly classify warranty and crash replacement situations
- Facilitate the quick replacement of all warranty parts when needed
- Process returned product in accordance with company warranty policies and procedures
- Work with the warranty team on basic mechanical claims to final resolution
- Help maintain company demo product, including any mechanical rework or repair needed
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair warrantied bike equipment to meet deadlines
- Fill out work orders completely and legibly as needed
- Work with other departments in a positive way to make sure customers are taken care of in a timely manner
- Work independently on projects and/or collaborate well with other members of the warranty team/warehouse team
- Effectively explain situations to customers and other departments to facilitate a positive outcome to all warranty claims
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good verbal/email communication skills
- History of successful customer service experience
- 3+ years of experience working in the outdoor industry
- Able to concentrate under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to show working knowledge of repair and maintenance of biking and other equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP experience is preferred
- Experience with working with all sporting goods
- Motocross background and experience
Physical Demands
- Requires walking, climbing ladders, standing, driving, sitting, squatting, kneeling, reaching overhead, twisting and turning
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and lift/carry up to 60 pounds
- Requires normal range of hearing and vision
- Occasional overtime and weekends when needed
