More than sharing a name, the Addict RC and the Addict RC eRIDE share a design. At the first look, it’s hard to tell which one has electric assistance. This level of integration translates in a more advanced bike in terms of construction for a radical feeling as close as possible to a regular road bike.

With a frame weight of just 1.04 kg and a complete bike weight of 10.6 kg, the Addict RC eRIDE sets a new benchmark in the road electric-assist category. More than a number, the Addict RC eRIDE has been developed in close collaboration with our dedicated eRIDE and road bike engineers to perfectly balance the needs of a drive unit with the superior carbon layering of a world tour-proven road bike.

The Addict RC eRIDE shares the same DNA as the Addict RC. We have implemented all our latest technologies. Proven at the highest level of racing, the Syncros Creston iC combo handlebar allows complete internal cable routing for mechanical or electronic cables and disc brakes. With this intelligent construction, it has never been as easy to adjust the position with spacers. All Addict RC eRIDE models are equipped with the Syncros Creston iC combo or handlebar/stem.
Clean and uncluttered, our new Syncros combo cockpit allows us to route all the cables completely internally through the bar, headset and into the frame.

CABLE INTEGRATION
All 4 cables are routed internally whether electronic or mechanical drivetrains are preferred. No cables are visible externally. Similarly the integrated magnetic stem cap means that no bolts are visible at all.
CONSTRUCTION
Carbon construction is at the heart of Syncros and our unique shape is optimized for this with only smooth transitions and no sharp edges especially at the transition between stem and handlebar. Carbon works best in flowing lines both from a strength and stiffness point of view.
STIFFNESS
Thanks to our specific design, layup and geometry we’ve achieved a 26% improvement in sprinting stiffness and a 27% increase in compliance (shock absorption). The usage of Ultra High Modulus carbon fibers plays a key role in this performance optimization.
COMPUTER INTEGRATION
This specific and unique v-shape also permits a better integration of the computer in front of the rider bringing it closer to him.
ERGONOMICS
Working with our ergonomics partner GebioMized we’ve optimized the tops with an oval shape to cancel pressure points, the hoods with a smooth transition and palm support and the drops with a compact shape. Even the graphics are designed for additional grip should you choose to ride without bartape on the tops.

DESIGN
We’ve looked to reproduce the same design language as the one-piece version with our separate bar and stem. All we’ve learned regarding ergonomics is reproduced here for comfort and performance.
INTEGRATION
There is full integration for the cables inside the bar and stem for both mechanical and electronic shifting. Our stem plate features an option to integrate a Garmin or Wahoo mount. Lastly our magnetic stem cap means no bolts are visible at the steerer and completes the clean look.
CONSTRUCTION
Our innovative stem allows mechanics to change the stem without having to bleed the brakes. Coupled with our new splittable spacers you can easily raise and lower the stem.
DRIVE UNIT & BATTERY
The Addict RC eRIDE is equipped with the hub-based Mahle X20 system. The drive unit is silent, discrete and leaves you with zero drag. The system is developed with a dedicated road bike assistance technology, which ensures a natural riding feeling both when the assistance shuts off, and when it starts to give you power again.

RANGE EXTENDER
The Addict RC eRIDE ensures confidence on longer days in the saddle with the ability to add a 171Wh Range Extender. The Range Extender is neat and looks like a simple bottle. It’s just as easy to install as one, the bonus is that the same cage can also be used for water bottles. The Mahle system automatically adapts to having two power sources and drains the Range Extender before the main battery.
