SCOTT athlete Brad FREEMAN put in a stellar performance on Saturday and managed to earn himself the World Champion’s crown in the E3 class in style! The young Brit remains unbeaten in this category. Freeman was riding like a man possessed and won the day with a convincing lead of more than 1.5 minutes over runner-up Jaume Betriu.scott-text1-1769793

Brad Freeman: “I’m really very happy to win E3! It was one of my big goals this season. The 300 is a real gem and I gave everything today to prove that I never give up - that was important to me.”

On Sunday, fate was sadly not on Freeman’s side. Although he was riding with everything he had and was all set to take victory in the EnduroGP class as well, a mechanical issue would mean that he was unable to repeat his championship win of the previous year.

There was also some great end of season results for the SCOTT-backed Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team./text2-1769794

Roni Kytonen became the EJ1 class World Champion after winning both days of the weekend! The Finnish rider ruled the final round of the season with his Honda-RedMoto CRF 250RX Enduro machine and proved that he is a real force to be reckoned with in this class.

Roni Kytonen "The race went much better than last weekend and I'm glad I was able to get the EJ1 World Title.”thomas-text3-1769795

Thomas Oldrati had a good end to the season too. He fought until the end for the title and eventually finished second on both days. This gave him enough points to finish as strong runner up in the E1 class, whilst also adding a nice fourth final position in the EnduroGP class.

"Amazing season finale! It was incredible to fight to the end with Andrea. I had to win both days to get the title, but he was so fast. The second position is still a great result for me: I raced a great season, always ahead and without any regrets. Thanks to Matteo and the whole team".danny-mccanney-text4-1769796

Englishman Daniel McCanney managed to wrap up the season with an impressive third place in the E3 class, after finishing fourth on Saturday and third on Sunday.

"The aim of this race was to finish both days in front of Larrieu and that's what I did. The third final position is a good result. Thanks to the whole team for the excellent job".

It is fair to say that 2020 was a difficult season for everyone, but the SCOTT EnduroGP riders gave it their all, got some great results are all fired up to come back even stronger in 2021.
