The second edition of the Matterhorn Ultraks Trail in Zermatt took place this saturday. Almost 1’400 participants entered one of the four races «16K», «30K», «46K» and «2VK». The Moroccan Zaïd Ait Malek came out on top of the longest distance «46K», which is part of the Skyrunner® World Series. Stevie Kremer (US) entered the finish line first among the women.
US Mountain Running champion and SCOTT-Athlete Joe Gray finished 2nd at one of the most competitive mountain races in the World, the 41st edition of Sierre-Zinal. Joe becomes the fastest American ever on this course with a time of 2:32.58h, less than 1 minute behind the race winner Kilian Jornet...
