MARCO DE GASPERI WINS OROBIE SKYRAID

Last weekend the Orobie Skyraid trail running event took place in the Orobie region in Italy. Due to very bad weather conditions the organisation comittee had to opt for «plan B» and change the trail. Despite the change, SCOTT athlete and 6-time world champion Marco de Gasperi lived up to the expectations and took home the win after being in the lead from start to finish. Marco de Gasperi on his way to winning The 31-year old Italian cut the finish line of the 17km race after 2:01'49" leaving runner up Stefano Butti more than two minutes behind him. Marco de Gasperi crossing the finish line Marco de Gasperi demonstrated yet again his strenght by clearly winning the 5th edition of the Ororbie Skyraid.
