D.I.A. Award 2026
The SCOTT Fastlane is built for road cyclists who want subtle tailwind support, blending the look of a classic race bike with smartly integrated e-power. At its core is the compact TQ HPR40 motor with 40 Nm of torque and a 290 Wh battery, discreetly tucked into the downtube. The system delivers a quiet, natural boost that tapers off smoothly above 25 km/h, ensuring an authentic ride experience. Thanks to the lightweight motor system, the bike stays under 10 kg, feels lively, climbs efficiently and handles just like a purebred road bike even with the power switched off. That impression is mirrored in the clean aesthetics, with a round frame shape and matching motor cover, as well as a top-tier spec featuring Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 components and Zipp 353 NSW wheels, a clear statement of premium intent. It’s the little touches that round off the package: a hidden multi-tool in the bar end plug, an integrated tail light, a tidy charging port cover and Di2 powered directly from the main battery. The jury were won over by the stylish stealth look, the thoughtful features and the pleasantly natural assistance, a well-executed concept from start to finish.
