Well-recognized amongst Australian cycling fans as the winner of the green jersey in the 2003 Tour de France, the Victorian has enjoyed a wide journey in his lengthy cycling career.

Baden got his start with an American team and made a name for him self on Française des Jeux, where he rode with Matt Wilson and countryman Bradley McGee. His time on the French squad was followed by stints with a succession of smaller teams and two years at Bjarne Riis’ Saxo Bank setup.

In recent years Baden’s focused his efforts on one-day classics. It is here where he sees his calling with GreenEDGE. Baden is intent on winning a classic and is excited about the opportunity to work alongside teammates with similar ambitions.
