Dr. Amit Samarth to endorse SCOTT Sport's performance bicycle range

• One of India's leading ultra-cyclists, Dr. Amit Samarth, has been signed on as a Brand Ambassador for SCOTT Sports India for two years.
• Amit will be seen racing in the SCOTT Addict RC and SCOTT Plasma RC and the entire range of apparel and equipment during the term.
• SCOTT Sports will also be the Bike Partner for Amit's first project, Ride Across India, an attempt to complete India's Golden Quadrilateral, a 6000 km route in 14 days.

SCOTT Sports India, a subsidiary of SCOTT Sports SA, a Swiss producer of premium bicycles, motorsports gear, running gear, sportswear, and winter equipment, will be seen supporting the ultra-cyclist from Nagpur, Amit Samarth.

Dr. Amit Samarth is one of India's best ultra-cyclist. He is the only one in Asia to have completed two longest cycling races globally, namely Race Across America (RAAM) and Red Bull Trans-Siberian Extreme (TSE). He has finished RAAM (5000 km) in 11 days, 21 hours, 11 minutes, and the TSE (9100 km) in 25 days. He will now be attempting Ride Across India, a 6000km distance in 14 days, from Mumbai – Bangalore – Chennai – Vizag – Kolkata – New Delhi – Mumbai.

In the coming year, Amit will be seen using the SCOTT Addict RC, a carbon light-weight road race machine, and the SCOTT Plasma RC, aerodynamic triathlon focused bike. Both the bikes come with a history of winning championships and are from the brand's most premium and high-performance range, estimated to be worth Rs. 12 lacs.

Through his association with SCOTT Sports, Amit will collaborate with the SCOTT Technology Center by Nareschandra and Co. in Nagpur to create a differentiated experience for cyclists focused on technology and innovation.
