Cam Jones - 2026 Oceania Gravel Champion

Cameron Jones opened the 2026 race season at RADL GRVL, in Australia, finishing second and taking the crown as the Oceania Gravel Champion for 2026.
The race doubled as the inaugural Oceania Gravel Championships and stretched over 128km with 2,300 meters of elevation gain through the Adelaide Hills, all with temperatures rising over 30 °C.
The elite men stayed together for 20 km when a smaller group advanced for a breakaway, including Cam Jones. With technical climbs and descents, the main group got back together halfway, Cam had suffered two punctures and had to fight to not get left behind. The winner, Romain Bardet, attacked with 10 km to go and was chased by Cam until the finish line. In the end, Cam finished second with 54 seconds after Bardet and being crowned as the first Oceania Gravel Champion for 2026.
