DRYOzone DWR products are treated with an ultra-thin PFC-free/C0 durable water repellent (DWR), a polymer that’s applied to the outermost fabric layer. DRYOzone DWR reduces the surface tension of the fabric, so that water simply rolls off.

- Either using minimum 50% of recycled materials

- Either created with 100% certified renewable materials

- Using only PFC Free DWR (Durable water repellence) treatments

Perfluorinated and polyfluorinated compounds, also known as PFCs, are a group of fluorinated substances that have long been used as durable water repellence for clothing in the outdoor industry are very bad for the environment because they are very stable, and do not easily break down in nature. Therefore, PFC free/ C0 DWR treatments have been developed. They are less durable but more sustainable.
