Keri Herman Wins U.S. Freeskiing Grand Prix

15 January 2014

January 8-10, 2014 Breckenridge Resort in Colorado hosted the 2014 U.S. Freeskiing Grand Prix event. After qualifiers two SCOTT athletes, Keri Herman and Tom Wallisch, moved on to the slopestyle finals. Due to heavy snow and limited visibility, the Men's and Women's Freeskiing Slopestyle finals that were originally scheduled for January 10, 2014 were cancelled. Per FIS rules, event officials used the slopestyle qualifying results for both men and women as the final results

SCOTT athlete Keri Herman took first in the Women's Freeskiing Slopestyle moving her higher up in the standings for a spot on the USA Olympic team. Tom Wallisch finished sixth overall and third out of the Americans. With one more stop on the U.S. Freeskiing Grand Prix tour in Park City, Utah January 15-18, 2014 both Keri and Tom will have to be at the top of their game. Congratulations to Keri Herman and Tom Wallisch.
