SCOTT Moto Weekend Vision

29 April 2013

Round 15 of the Supercross series took place in Salt Lake City, UT, at Rice Eccles stadium last weekend.  The conditions couldn't have been any better as clear skies and warmer than usual temps greeted all in attendance.

250 West Coast Class

Martin Davalos

SCOTT goggle athlete Martin Davalos had a great night in SLC.  He started his day by setting the fastest 250 lap time in the first timed practice session.  He then went on to win his heat race.  In the main event, Davalos rode consistently and came out with a 3rd place podium for his efforts.  Davalos now sits 5th in the points standings.

Tyla Rattray

Monster Energy Pro Circuit rider Tyla Rattray rode well in SLC, taking 3rd in the second 250SX heat race.  In the 250SX main event, Tyla earned a respectable top ten finish by placing 8th.  Rattray sits 9th in points.

Dakota Tedder

SCOTT goggle athlete Dakota Tedder earned another trip to the 250SX main event.  Tedder qualified for the main with an 8th in his heat race and then went on to finish 13th overall in the 250SX main event.

Topher Ingalls

SCOTT athlete Topher Ingalls made the night show by taking the last available spot by taking 2nd in the 250SX LCQ.  Ingalls rebounded extremely well and finished in 14th in the main.

450SX Class

Trey Canard

SCOTT goggle athlete Trey Canard battled all day long in SLC.  He took 2nd in the first 450SX qualifier, which gave him a good gate pick for the main.  In the 450SX main event Canard rode smart and came away with a 4th place finish.

Andrew Short

Andrew Short had another quiet but consistent night in SLC.  Shorty qualified 3rd in the first 450SX heat race.  In the 450SX main event Short took home 8th overall.

Phil Nicoletti

Phillip Nicoletti has been one of the most consistent riders in the series this year.  Nicoletti made yet another 450SX main event via an 8th place finish in the second 450SX heat race.  In the main, Nicoletti finished a solid 15th overall.

Adam Enticknap

SCOTT goggle athlete Adam Enticknap made his second main event of the year and finished 19th on the night in the 450SX main event.

The last and final round of the 16 round Supercross series is next weekend May 4th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mullins and Bobbitt take 1st and 3rd at the Rad Dad National Enduro

At the 5th round of the Rekluse National Enduro Series, SCOTT athletes Charlie Mullins and Russell Bobbitt took 1st and 3rd respectively in the Pro Class.

Charlie Mullins outlasted all other competitors on his way to claiming his 4th win of the series.  Mullins now holds a 20 point lead over Bobbitt, who sits in 2nd place in the point standings.

Bobbitt tore through the rain soaked terrain of Westpoint, TN to claim the final spot on the podium.  Bobbitt was one of three riders to win a special test, which helped him in his podium effort.

The next round of the Rekluse National Enduro Series will be May 9th in Marquette, MI.

Kurt Caselli and teammate Ivan Ramirez take Top Two Spots at the AMA Hare & Hound

Kurt Caselli won the 5th round of the AMA Hare & Hound series, which took place for the second time this season in Lucerne Valley, CA.  The desert specialist dominated the 100 mile course and never looked back.  Finishing just behind Caselli was teammate and fellow SCOTT athlete Ivan Ramirez, who took 2nd overall.

The next H&H round takes place May 4th in Jericho, UT.
