BOSCH or TQ

SCOTT eMTB has two drive-system partners: Bosch and TQ. These manufacturers have been carefully selected for the purpose of the bike and its future riders. Bosch and TQ have their unique features and are therefore fitted on the bikes we believe can best utilize these features. The differences between the two manufacturers lie in the torque, battery sizes, riding feeling, and connectivity. However, both offer great customization, reliability and clever features such as walk assistance.

MID-DRIVE BOSCH

SCOTT eMTBs that are powered by a drive unit from Bosch have bigger batteries, higher torque and several riding modes to swipe between. The higher torque allows for more assistance in the climbs and helps for keeping the flow throughout the whole ride. The SCOTT eMTBs are equipped with the crank-based Performance Line CX and Performance Line CX-Race to maximize the agile and responsive riding feel. These drive units get you through technical trails, steep climbs and with their rapid acceleration, they quickly get you up to speed again.

MID-DRIVE TQ HPR50

If you're looking for an eMTB with the same feeling and handling as an acoustic bike, just as agile, quick and lightweight, the TQ minimalistic HPR50 system is what you're looking for. The TQ motor is compact, light and gives a natural and dragless riding feeling throughout the whole ride. With the HPR50, TQ has innovated by using a harmonic gear system. This allows for a reduction of size, while also increasing the accuracy of the system. This also keeps the pedaling natural, and the assistance optimized based upon the rider's performance and input.
