SCOTT Sports wishes you a merry Christmas and all the best for 2013

21 December 2012
SCOTT Sports will remember 2012 as a year packed with great victories, big wins and unbeatable sportive moments. Athletes of SCOTT Sports around the globe celebrated great victories including world champion titles, world cup wins, stage wins at the most prestigious road races, time trials, downhill competitions, triathlon and many more. Looking back, this is what we will remember:

Nino Schurter won the overall Worldcup. He won the XC World Champion title and the silver medal at the Olympic Games in London. With 11 victories in 15 races, the SCOTT Swisspower superstar celebrated his most successful year of his career.

ORICA GreenEDGE athelete Simon Gerrans won the Tour Down UNder and Milan-San Remo in spring, his teammate Simon Clarke dominated the 4th stage of the Vuelta. Matt Goss won the 3rd stage of the Giro d'Italia. Judith Arndt became time trial world champion. Just to mention a few...

Triathlon pro Sebastian Kienle is the new 70.3 world champion. Marino Vanhoenacker won the European Championships.

Tom Wallisch not only won the prestigious X-Games in Aspen, he also charged the Dew Tour and won the overall classement. Wallisch also was honored as "Top action sports athlete of the year" by ESPN.

Moto athlete Blake Baggett is the new 250 AMA Outdoor Champion 2012.

But not only our athletes performed like true champions. With lots of award-winning products like the Eurobike Gold Award for the new ultralight All Mountain Tech line, we look back at a year full of innovations and successful launches. We got the ball rolling for the new 27.5" wheelsize standard, and with the new Scale 700 and the Genius 700 our engineers have built two bikes which will revolutionize different segments in mountain biking.

There is a lot more to come - watch out for 2013! SCOTT Sports wishes you a merry Christmas and all the best for 2013.
